GAME 1 | 8-1
The Lady Bears took an early lead in the top of the first when a Lexi Simonton single up the middle-scored Justine Kennington (1-0). GGC responded in the bottom of the third inning with one run of their own to even the score (1-1). Both teams remined even in play until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Grizzlies put the game out of reach with a final score of 1-8.
LEADERS
Kennington led going 1-3 at the plate with one run, while Simonton went 1-3 with one RBI. Briley Lawson, Alicia Price and Anna Thomas each had a single hit, followed by pitcher Kyleigh Sanders who had five strikeouts on the day.
GAME 2 | 7-1
Game two saw the Grizzlies with the same speed, hitting the board firs in the bottom of the third inning (0-1). The fourth inning and fifth inning proved successful for GGC, but the Lady Bears did not back down as they worked to reduce the lead in the top of the sixth. A lead-off single from B. Lawson sparked the inning, while an Ellie Abner RBI single put TMU on the board (1-7). The seventh inning ultimately saw the Lady Bears unable to bridge the gap falling to a score of 1-7.
LEADERS
Mattie Brooks went 2-3 at the plate with one walk, while Kennington went 2-4 and B. Lawson went 2-4. Abner recorded a single hit and one RBI, followed by Mikayla Sullens who had one hit of her own.

TMU will hit the road on Monday, March 28, where they will face AAC foe, Montreat College, in a conference double header. Game times set for 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
