Williamsburg, KY. (March 9, 2022) — The Truett McConnell University lacrosse team traveled on Wednesday to face University of the Cumberlands, where the Lady Bears suffered a hard loss with a final score of 26-2.

The Patriots took charge in the first quarter scoring 13 goals, while TMU was unable to find the back of the net (13-0). In the second quarter, the Patriots increased the lead by scoring five goals, going into the half 18-0. In quarter three, the Lady Bears continued to battle hard, capable of carrying the momentum into the fourth with two Hope Frady goals. The game was ultiamtley put out of reach by the Patriots, leaving the Lady Bears to fall with a final score of 26-2.
LEADERS
Frady led the way with two goals and five shots, four on goal and three ground balls. Goalie Madison Franklin had six saves on the day.
