BABSON PARK, Fla. (February 24, 2022) – The Truett McConnell University men's volleyball team traveled to face Webber International University in a Mid-South Conference battle, where the Bears fell to a match score of 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 25-8).
PLAY-BY-PLAY
Set one saw an aggressive Warrior team, while the Bears were forced to work from behind (11,25). Set two proved up hill for TMU as they took advantage of WIU errors and secured a three-point run from a Nathan Hill kill to even the score (12-12). A Hill kill sparked another strong run, while an Owen Nobles kill was the Bears final effort, resulting in a 21-25 loss. The third and final set saw the Warriors gain momentum to take the mathc with a score of 8-25.
LEADERS
Hill led the way with six kills, followed by Kaleb Mitchell who tallied four kills. Nobles recorded three kills,  while Wensky Saintilmond tallied 12 assists.
