LAKE WALES, Fla. (February 26, 2022) – On Saturday, the Truett McConnell University men's volleyball team traveled to Lake Wales, Fla. for a conference matchup against Warner University. The Bears fell short 6-25, 14-25, 8-25. TMU declined to 0-10 MSC, while the Warriors rose to 11-5, 6-2 MSC.

In the first set, the Warriors attacked early, but
Owen Nobles had a service ace and
Kaleb Mitchell had a kill to help the Bears. A service ace from
Nathan Hill and a kill from
Jackson Adams was not enough as TMU fell 6-25. In the second set, the Bears struck early with a kill from Hill to tie it up, but the Warriors gained momentum. A kill from Adams and an ace from Mitchell attempted to close the gap. Three points late in the match still left the Bears behind, 14-24. In the final set, a kill from Mitchell was the only hope for TMU, leaving them to fall 8-25.
LEADERS
Mitchell led the way with three kills, one service ace and a block. Adams had two kills and a dig. Hill collected one kill, one ace and seven digs on the day.

The Bears travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. on Friday, March 4, for a non-conference match-up against Carolina University. Match time is set for 5:00 p.m.
