LAKE WALES, Fla. (Mar. 6, 2021) – The Truett McConnell University men's volleyball suffered a Mid-South Conference sweep against Warner University (25-11, 25-12, 25-8) Saturday afternoon on the road. The Bears fell to 0-8, 0-8 AAC on the season, while the Royals improved to 5-2, 4-2 AAC.
Both teams were neck and neck until the Royals pulled away with a 15-2 scoring run to earn their first win of the night. Warner carried over the momentum to earn their second win of the night on a 5-0 run. A pair of TMU kills put the Bears ahead by one in the third, but it was only up from there for Warner as they fastened the MSC sweep.
Kaleb Mitchell led the offense with four kills, while
Wensky Saintilmond was credited nine assists. Saintilmond and
Nathan Hill led with three digs apiece.
