CLEVELAND, Ga. TMU now sits at an overall record of 2-0-1.

The first period showed the Lady Bears tallying 14 shots and five corner kicks as they put pressure on Union's defense, though remaining scoreless (0-0). In the second, the defending AAC Champs came out even stronger on offense with 20 shots but it wasn't until the 82nd minute that junior Sydney League headed the winning goal in off a perfectly placed ball from the wing by sophomore Madison Wright, which resulted in a final score of 1-0.

The Lady Bears recorded a total of 34 shots, 18 on target, in comparison to the Bulldogs' three total shots. Additionally, TMU earned eight corner kicks, while Union earned zero.

Wright led the Lady Bears with four shots and one assist, while League followed closely behind with two shots and one goal off a header in the box.
