CLEVELAND, Ga. (Sept. 17, 2019) – In a battle of the two best 2018 Appalachian Athletic Conference women's soccer teams, Truett McConnell University (Regular Season Champs) and Tennessee Wesleyan University (Tournament Champs), the Lady Bears came out on top in shutout fashion at the TMU Soccer Complex on Tuesday night (2-0). TMU won their second straight AAC game to improve to 5-1, 2-0 AAC on the year.
After 30 scoreless minutes, junior Jennifer McCall found the back of the net to put the Lady Bears out front for good (1-0).
