COACH'S COMMENTS
"Today's result was very good but I'm more impressed with the high level of the girls' performance so early in the season," Head Coach David McDowell said. "We have a lot of new players who are learning our system and tonight they all took a big step to understanding it more. This has been a good weekend for us to get two wins and a lot of different girls minutes. We'll take next week to recover and work on a few more things before we play Bob Jones on the 3rd."
LEADERS
Lanier led with five shots, three on goal while fellow junior Jennifer McCall tallied four shots.
Sophomore Hope Foster earned her second career shutout racking up a total of four saves.
