Game 1
The first game of the afternoon was a fairly quick game only taking under two hours to play. In the bottom of the 2nd,
Brie Levy hit her third homerun of the season to put the Lady Bears up 1-0. The Lady Bears pushed the other across in the following inning as
Reba Jones doubled and then scored on an error by the third basemen.
Bethany Hyde started Game 1 on the mound for the Lady Bears and was dominant in her 5.0 innings of work, only allowing 4 hits and recording 4 Ks. The Lady Bears took Game 1 with a 2-0 victory.
Game 2
The Lady Bears looked to sweep Agnes Scott with a win in the nightcap of the double header. The Lady Bears sent
Karley Hobbs to the mound who has been dominate of late as she has a 2.58 ERA coming into the series.
Kaitlynn Hay lead the bottom of the 1st off with a single and was driven home byÂ
Milly Martinet's 8th homerun of the season. The Lady Bears pushed two more runs across in the bottom of the 1st with the help of multiple errors by the Scotties. The Lady Bears would go into the 2nd inning up on the scoreboard 4-0. In the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Lady Bears added another run after Sullivan singled and was driven home by a ground out by
Reba Jones to give the Lady Bears a 5-0 lead.
Sarah Horne tripled down the left field line and was driven home on a ground out to pushing the lead to 6-0. The Lady Bears did not stop there as they added three more runs in the bottom of the 4th giving them a 9-0 lead. Hobbs finished the game allowing only 4 hits and striking out 4 as well.
