CLEVELAND, GA. |   The Truett McConnell women's basketball team struggled early on the offensive end, while AAC rival Reinhardt, hit on all cylinders and held on late for a 70-49 win. The Bears are now 2-12 overall and 0-10 in league play. 

The lady bears fought close in the first frame against the eagles to keep a close score down by 5, 12-17. TMU had trouble finding points in the second quarter, being outscored 17-5 in the second frame. The Eagles extended their lead to 16 points by the halftime horn.

With Reinhardt outscoring TMU in second chance points, 20-5, the lady bears were unable to make a come back. The lady bears struggled to keep RU off the boards for the night with the eagles out rebounding TMU 56-28. 
The lady bears were able to outscore the eagles in the last frame, but it was not enough to seal a conference victory. 

Sierra Kendall lead the bears for the night with 8 points and 7 rebounds. Bralise Reese and Madison Curtis also pitched in with 8 offensively for the night.  

The lady bears will stay home for their next conference game this upcoming Saturday as they look to find their first AAC victory against Columbia College. Tip off is set for 2 o'clock p.m.
