CLEVELAND, GA. | Despite hot hands behind the three point line from
Christian Davis, the TN Wesleyan Bulldogs defeated the Truett McConnell men's basketball team late, 69-73, Wednesday evening in the Bear Cave.
The Bears and Bulldogs went back and forth for the entire game, with neither team leading by more than 10 at any point during the game.
Christian Davis had hot hands behind the arc in the second half going 5-5 from the 3 point line to cut the lead down to a one point game. The two teams battled the last couple of minutes until the bulldogs sealed the victory with a late bucket 30 seconds left in play.
Christian Davis lead the Bears offensively with 21 points and 7 assists.
Myles Monroe also pitched in a 10 point piece for TMU.
The Bears will travel this upcoming Saturday to Barbourville, KY to take on Union College. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
