DAYTON, TN | Although TMU had four players finish in double figures, Bryan College got out to a big lead early and never looked back en route to a 88-60 win over the Truett McConnell women's basketball team Thursday night. The Bears are now 3-15 and 1-13 in AAC play.
The Lions jumped out quickly, leading the Lady Bears as much as 14 points to begin the contest. Bryan led 26-12 after the first quarter. TMU's
Sarah Hartshorn knocked down a big three to try and gain momentum for the Lady Bears, but Bryan pulled away to lead 45-23 going into the half.
Bryan clamped down defensively to outscore TMU off turnovers 21-11. The Lady Bears got down as much as 38 points in the second half, but was able to go on a 8-0 scoring streak to finish the game 88-60. Bryan's bench played a key roll to seal the victory outscoring TMU 44-13 for the contest.
TMU's senior
Anna Murr led the Lady Bears again with a solid 16 points for the night. Murr went 3-5 from behind the arch and 4-7 from the field. Also leading offensively for the Lady Bears was

Sierra Kendall (12).
The Lady Bears will remain on the road again this Saturday as they travel to Montreat College in North Carolina. Tip off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
