CLEVELAND, GA. |    The TMU lady bears hosted AAC rival Bryan College Tuesday night before entering Thanksgiving break. The lady bears could not keep up with the Lady Lions, eventually falling short with the final score,50-72. The TMU women's basketball team is now 2-5 on the season and 0-4 in conference play. 

The Lady bears got off to a slow start early in the 1st half trailing the Lions by 13 before Sarah Hartshorn drained a deep 3 to cut the lead to 10. The Lions retaliated hitting a couple quick transition points, and eventually extended their lead by 17 points going into halftime. 

The Lady Bears came out firing at the beginning of the 2nd half, scoring 6 straight points including another dagger 3 pointer from Sarah Hartshorn. The Lions eventually put the game away when they stretched the lead to 22 points; finishing with a win 50-72.

Leading the lady Bears offensively with 11 points was Sarah Hartshorn. Following in points was Mikayla Miles with 10 and Sierra Kendall with 8.

The TMU women's basketball will be traveling on the road to Tennessee Wesleyan next Tuesday night after Thanksgiving break. Tip off begins at 5:30 p.m.
