CLEVELAND | The Truett McConnell University athletic department is set for Saturday's Bear Bash on campus which will include three volleyball matches and two soccer matches. Also in action Saturday on the road are the cross country teams and the lacrosse team.

"We are very excited to host three different institutions on campus this weekend," said Director of Athetic Marketing and Communications Walker McCrary. "We plan to really show off the TMU campus through our athletic events. I encourage students and fans to come out and support the Bears throughout the entire day."

The action on campus begins at 11 a.m. when the TMU volleyball team takes on Bluefield in the first match of the Truett McConnell Tri-Match hosted in the Bear Cave. Bluefield will match up against Montreat at 1 p.m. before the Bears take the floor again at 3 p.m. to take on the Cavaliers.

Over at the TMU Soccer Complex, the women and men's soccer teams will take on Union in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Union's men's soccer program is currently ranked No. 13 in the nation.

Fans can follow the action online through BearsTV as all TMU events will be live streamed through Stretch Internet. There will also be live stats for those same contests as well. Fans are also encouraged to use the hashtag #BearBash when talking about the day on social media.

Tickets to get into both on campus events are $3, with TMU faculty, staff and students getting in free with the presentation of a valid TMU ID.
