Rachel Gooch is entering her second year as the Director of Athletic Marketing and Communications at Truett McConnell University. She stepped into the role in October 2024 after serving as the Assistant Sports Information Director during the 2023–24 athletic year.
In her current position, Gooch oversees all marketing efforts for TMU Athletics, coordinates game day operations for all home sporting events, and serves as the official statistician for TMU’s 24 athletic teams.
A native of Griffin, Georgia, Gooch graduated from Pike County High School in 2019 and attended TMU from 2019 to 2023, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. As a student, she was a four-year collegiate athlete and worked in the Sports Information Department, gaining hands-on experience in athletic communications.
She went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from TMU in May 2025. Gooch currently resides in Cleveland, Georgia, with her dog, Bonnie.
