Morgan Fussell

Morgan Fussell has been named an assistant coach for women's volleyball and beach volleyball, part of head coach Joe Herrera's staff.

"I'm excited to have Morgan join our staff with her knowledge and expertise on the game," Herrera said. "Not only will she help the team grow as athletes, but also as women."

Fussell most recently received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State at Altoona, where she played volleyball for four seasons. She was a part of the 2023 and 2024 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship teams, qualifying for the NCAA Division III Tournament twice.

She also enters Truett McConnell's graduate school, aiming for a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with Sports Psychology. She is no stranger to the North Georgia area, with Blairsville being her hometown.

"I'm excited to grow my love of volleyball and share it with these girls," Fussell said. "I want to help them become better on and off the court."
