Hailey Burrell joined the Truett McConnell family as Assistant Athletic Trainer in August 2014. Prior to joining Truett McConnell, Burrell served as a gymnastics coach for upper level gymnasts. She also worked as a tumbling coach for middle school cheerleading teams.

Burrell graduated from the University of Georgia in 2014 with her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. Prior to attending college, Burrell was a 2009 graduate from neighboring Habersham Central High School.

While earning her undergraduate degree, Burrell served as a student athletic trainer where she worked with the UGA women’s tennis team, the UGA track and field team and the NCAA and SEC Champion UGA swimming and diving team. In addition, she worked as a trainer for the North Oconee High School football team and helped on the athletic training staff for numerous summer camps hosted by UGA.

With a focus on serving the student athlete, Burrell says her goal is “to help every athlete achieve their maximum level of performance whether it’s helping to prevent an injury or treating a current one with the focus on getting them back to what they love as quickly and safely as possible.”

Burrell currently resides in her hometown of Cornelia, Georgia.
