Dusty Rogers

  • Title
    Men's Basketball Chaplain
Dusty Rogers joined the men's basketball staff in 2022; however, he is no stranger to Truett McConnell University or White County. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ga., he graduated from White County High School in 2000 and attended Truett McConnell College when it was a two-year junior college. He earned his four-year degree in Environmental Geology from Piedmont University in 2005. After graduation, he returned to TMU to start its golf program, spending three years coaching golf at TMU and another five years coaching golf at Piedmont.

With his heart drawn to both college ministry and athletics, Dusty served as College Pastor at Concord Baptist Church's Habersham campus and then led that congregation as Campus Pastor from 2019 to 2022. He also served as Character Coach for Piedmont's men's basketball team from 2000 to 2022.

Dusty and his wife, Kim, live in Cleveland with their two children: Emma (age 14) and Owen (age 11).
