Cooper Roland

Cooper Roland is entering his first season as the Associate Head Men’s Golf Coach at Truett McConnell University, stepping into the role in 2025 after serving as the graduate assistant for the men’s golf program during the 2024–25 season. Prior to that, he completed a five-year collegiate career with the Bears from 2018 to 2023.
 
A proud TMU alumnus, Roland competed as a standout member of the men’s golf team and was known for his leadership both on and off the course. During his time as a student-athlete, he demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, which he now brings into his coaching career.
 
Roland earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2022, graduating Cum Laude, and went on to complete his Master of Business Administration at TMU in 2025. He was recognized with the Outstanding Student Award for the MBA program.
 
Originally from Clarkesville, Georgia, Roland is a graduate of Habersham Central High School, where he was a four-year varsity athlete. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, mental toughness, and spiritual growth, focusing on developing student-athletes who excel in competition and character.
 
Roland and his family attend River Point Community Church in Demorest, Georgia, where he actively serves in Student Ministries.
