Biography

High School: Russell played four years of volleyball at Ola High School. She was named Henry County's Volleyball Player of the Year. In her senior year she led the region with a .443 hitting percentage, getting 365 kills. Russell also led the area with 100 blocks, and came second in the area with 91 aces. At Ola, Russell was a three year starter and her senior year she was given the captain's award and named the Mustangs MVP. Russell made the 1st team All-Area, in Class AAAAA, and made All-State Team Honorable Mention.

Why I Chose TMU: It was close to home and I was able to play volleyball.
