Biography
Junior Year: Kelsey played in 15 games this past year starting one. Kelsey will be entering her senior year hoping to nail down a starting position and finish her TM career off strongly. She has worked hard this past spring and will rely on her experience and work rate to guide her through her last season.
Sophomore Year: Kelsey had a much more significant season in her sophomore year, playing in 18 games and starting 7. She recorded 2 goals and 1 assist and she will look to improve on these statistics this year from the striker position. Kelsey does an excellent job of holding the ball up and bringing her teammates into the game and has a very good work rate, tirelessly working for the betterment of the team. She has worked hard this spring on fine tuning her first touch and her off the ball movement, and we hope to see even more contribution from her in her junior year.
Freshman Year: The majority of Kelsey’s freshman season was hampered by injury as she was recovering from ACL surgery sustained during senior year of high school. Her dedication and work rate to rehabilitate was outstanding and this was evident as Kelsey had an excellent spring season, scoring in a number of the spring games. Her strength and scoring appetite will be important going into her sophomore year and she will look to provide a lot of competition to the forward position.
High School: East Coweta High. MVP as a junior. Team made it to Final Four as junior and Elite Eight as senior.
Personal: Born in South Fulton, Ga. Parents are Jaye and Chariety. Major: Early Childhood Education.
