Junior Year: Jo played in all 19 of our games this year, starting in 16. She also recorded 3 assists this year and was constantly supplying great deliveries into the box from the left hand side of the field. Her consistency this past year made her one of the most important players on the team and she has grown into a very valuable member of the program. She will look to sign off her TM career on a high as she enters her senior year.
Sophomore Year: Jo played in all but one game this past season, starting 17, while scoring one goal and recording 2 assists from the full back position. Jo’s improvement from her freshman year was significant (she won the team’s ‘Most Improved Player’ award this past year) and she has grown substantially in confidence. Her defensive positional sense is very good and this past year she worked hard on developing her attacking game, getting forward often and providing great service to the strikers. Jo will look to continue her improvement in the attacking third of the field this year as she gains more experience at this level.

Freshman Year: Jo had an excellent second half to her first season at Truett. After adapting to the speed of play early on, she won a starting position and improved with each game helping to solidify the left back position. She brings very good balance to the team and likes to get forward into the attack. Her distribution is superb and she is very quick. Jo also brings a desire-to-win mentality to the team and her leadership will be looked upon even more as she begins her sophomore year.

High School: Easingwold Secondary High. Sports Personality and Sports Leader of the Year as junior. Played for North Yorkshire Girls Center of Excellence as sophomore. Represented North Riding Co Ladies 2010-12. Players’ Player of Year Award as freshman and sophomore.
