High School: Brown was a HOPE Scholar. She was voted 2011-2012 most improved player and also received the hustle award. Brown was an All-Region team honorable mention her senior year.

Personal: Myeshia Brown is the daughter of Christine and Newton Hawkins. She was born on February 2, 1994 in Royston, Georgia and has two older sisters, two younger sisters, and a younger brother. Brown is majoring in Nursing.
