Freshman Year: Taylor had a very impressive freshman campaign, leading the conference in lowest earned run average for the majority of the season.  Taylor finished the year with a 1.65 earned run average, which ranked her 17^th in the NAIA.  Nix finished the season starting 20 games and playing in 31, throwing 140 innings.  She ended with a record of 9-9, her first collegiate win coming against Talladega College.  Nix threw 10 complete games, and had four shut outs.  Taylor was named to the second team All-Conference team, the All-Freshman team and named the Most Improved player for the Lady Bears.

High School: Eagle softball MVP, 2^nd team all region, NE Georgia honorable mention, community service award

Greatest Inspiration in Life: My dad, he has always believed in me and pushed me to be the best.  He is an amazing man of God and has always shown me Christ like love.

Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
