Reichenberg, an Elk Grove, California native and Franklin High School graduate, continued his education and athletic career at Lassen Community College in Susanville California where he was a two year starter in the outfield. After his time at Lassen College, Reichenberg transferred to Truett McConnell University where he spent three years playing for the Bears.

Reichenberg graduated from TMU in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Sports Management. Upon graduation, Reichenberg worked at Cambridge High School in Milton, Georgia in the special education department. At Cambridge HS, Reichenberg coached softball and baseball. The Lady Bears carried the success into the 2019 season, where they were crowned the back-to-back AAC Regular Season Champions, recorded the best single season record the program has ever seen (42-11) and punched their ticket to nationals.
