Stephen Lee is entering into his first year as the assistant men’s soccer coach.
Lee, a resident of Toccoa, Georgia, played collegiate soccer for four years at Toccoa Falls College. During his time there, he was a First Team All-Region select, team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year in 2013, 2014 and 2015, while also holding the title of team Captain in 2015.
In the Summer of 2013, Lee was accepted to compete with the Chicago Eagles Summer Academy.
This was a 10-week commitment where he trained in sports ministry, travelled to Brazil for a two-week soccer tour and ran eight weeks’ worth of soccer camps for elementary-high school aged kids.
In the summer of 2015, Lee was a part of a leadership team that planned and raised over $100,000 to oversee and participate in a 10-week soccer tour to Indonesia.
Lee and his team played in a local league for Papua United Soccer Academy. Through soccer outreach clinics, language training events and sports ministry, Lee and his team’s goal was to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS.
Lee spent time coaching a local soccer club team, Rapids FC, for three seasons.
After Graduating from Toccoa Falls College, Lee was hired by Emmanuel College in 2017 as the assistant men’s soccer coach under head coach Scott Borchers.
Lee began the program’s first Reserve Team, which competed against other NCAA schools. He assisted Coach Borchers with the first team training environment, games, travel preparations, and recruiting for both first and reserve teams.
Lee graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management.
