Sophomore Year:  Deaza saw his first minutes registering two rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes against WILLIAM CAREY ... He recorded his first points scoring 2 points and one rebound against Bellhaven ... Deaza had five points against REINHARDT…He scored four points against TENNESSE TEMPLE ... Deaza posted two points and two rebounds in the first round of the SSAC conference tournament against MOBILE...

Freshman Year: Participated on junior varsity squad  

High School: Deaza played his senior year at Flowery Branch High School … He was coached by Duke Mullis … Deaza was named team captain… He  let the team in scoring with 14 points a game … Deaza also led his team in assists dishing out three per game  … He proved who could make plays in big moments by hitting the game winning shot against Apalachee High School … Deaza also hit a game winner against Habersham County High School … He scored a season high 26 points against Cedar Shoals … Deaza was named Team MVP …He sat out his junior season do to transfer restrictions after transferring in from West Hall High School …   Deaza played his sophomore year at West Hall High School … He was coached by Warren Sellers … He participated on the varsity roster for a team that went 28-3 …  His squad won the Region Title before losing in the 1^st round of the state playoffs to Columbus. 

 Personal:  Rudy Deaza was born in Providence, RH… He is the son of Fernando and Ludin Deaza   … He is majoring in sport management
