CLEVELAND, Ga. – The Bears look to even their season record as they continue their road trip against the Talladega College Tornadoes Friday in Talladega, Alabama.
 
Truett McConnell men's soccer has shown plenty of resilience through their first three games of the season, posting a 0-1-2 record, with their only loss being by one goal to the Cumberland University Phoenix who were just promoted to No. 6 in the NAIA men's soccer rankings. They travel to Talladega with a 6-7 goal differential, with senior Jovica Lazarevic tied atop the Appalachian Athletic Conference in goals with four while fellow senior Roman Reynolds sits tied for first in the conference in assists with two.
 
Friday's fixture will serve as an opportunity for both sides to claim their first win of the season, as the Tornadoes enter the contest 0-2 to open 2026 with a 1- 16 goal differential. Tomorrow's game will also mark the two programs' first meeting since 2013.
