CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell women's volleyball continues Appalachian Athletic Conference play tomorrow evening with a match against Montreat scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
 
Tuesday's match will be the third of four meetings between the two schools in 2026. The Lady Bears have the chance to win the season series over the Cavaliers with a win tomorrow evening. TMU has emerged victorious in the two clashes played this season, both of which were 3-0 straight set wins, part of a five-match steak against Montreat.
 
The Cavaliers currently sit at 3-4 overall on the season, their latest result being a 3-1 win over Columbia College last Friday. The match against Truett is the first of a three-match homestand for Montreat while also being the home opener for 2026.
 
Josie Leatherman leads the team offensively in total kills (60) and kills per set (2.73). On the serve, Isabella Farmer (0.71) and Brittany Jack (0.56) rank second and fifth in service aces per set in the AAC. Taylor Shaw is the top threat on the assist, averaging 5.00 per set.
 
Defensively, Allie Anderson is the top Cavalier in digs with 3.67 per set. Bonnie Trautman leads the team in total blocks with 17.0, which includes five block solos.
 
For TMU, Faith Clarkson is the kill leader with 1.84 per set and 94 overall while hitting .217 on the season. Grace Lamontagne and Caroline Yeager both lead the team in setting, with the former having 147 assists and the latter contributing 137 assists. Jade Seaman ranks third in the AAC in aces per set (0.69) and has 18 overall.
 
The Lady Bears aim to win their fourth straight match and reach their win total from last season with their 12^th. The team will also attempt to start 2-0 in AAC play for the second straight year.
