CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell women's volleyball plays its second weekend of the season when it hosts Bob Jones and Point University at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 in the Harris Athletic Complex.
 
The Lady Bears enter the weekend with a 3-1 overall record, taking three out of four contests at the Brewton-Parker Invitational.
 
Bob Jones will begin season play for the first time in 2026 this weekend. In 2025, the team finished the season with an overall record of 20-17. In the NCCAA DII National Tournament, the team advanced to the national championship game, placing as runners-up with a loss to Manhattan Christian College. The Bruins took two out of three matches vs. TMU in 2025.
 
Bob Jones will be led by returning junior Stefanie Burke, who averaged over two kills per set in 2025 and collected 281 in total.
 
The Skyhawks start the season with a 1-7 record, holding a five-match losing streak going into this weekend. They ended last season with a 24-17 record with a 6-9 mark in Southern States Athletic Conference play.
