CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell University men's soccer (0-0-1) hits the road to begin a four-game road trip Wednesday against the Brewton-Parker Christian University Barons (0-2) at the BPC Soccer Field & Track.
 
Saturday will be the eighth meeting between the two sides, with history siding in the Bears' favor with a 5-1-1 record against the Barons all-time. Notably, Truett McConnell is unbeaten when traveling to Mount Vernon, Georgia with a 3-0-1 record.
 
Jovica Lazarevic will look to expand his lead as top goal and point-scorer for TMU after recording a hat trick to open the season last weekend in a draw against Point University.
 
The contest serves as Brewton-Parker's home opener for the 2026 season. The Barons already have two regular season matches under their belt, a 5-0 loss to Webber International University on Aug. 20 and a 3-1 defeat to Warner University on Aug. 22.
 
Freshman Guillem Ropero has been an early bright spot for the Barons as he delivered a goal in his second ever collegiate start last Saturday.
 
Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. as each team looks to record their first win of the season.
