CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell University Men's Soccer has announced the schedule for the 2026 season.

Head coach
Scott Borchers enters 2026 following a 10-5-3 campaign in 2025, which featured a 7-2-3 mark in Appalachian Athletic Conference play, placing the Bears third in the conference standings.

Preceding the regular season is a pair of scrimmages, with the team traveling to North Georgia on Aug. 14 and Shorter on Aug. 18. The regular season kicks off with a home match vs. Point University on Aug. 22 at 6 p.m.

Following the opener, the Bears face a four-match road slate, starting with a trip to Brewton-Parker Christian University on Aug. 26 before ending the month at Cumberland University in Tennessee on Aug. 31. The team takes on Talladega on Sept. 4 and begins AAC conference play at Montreat on Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m.

TMU returns home to face Columbia College on Wednesday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. at the TMU Soccer Complex. After a road trip to Tennessee Wesleyan on Sept. 23, the team plays a home match vs. Union Commonwealth on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. The month ends with a midweek away match against Bryan Sept. 30.

After a home match vs. Milligan to start the month of October on 10/3, the Bears will play two consecutive away matches at Pikeville on Oct. 10 and Columbia International University on Oct. 14. Truett will play in the friendly confines of Cleveland for three straight matches with Reinhardt (10/21), Bluefield (10/24) and Johnson (10/28) all taking the pitch at the TMU Soccer Complex.

The regular season ends with a road trip to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on Spartanburg Methodist on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m. The AAC Tournament takes place on Nov. 3-11.
