CLEVELAND, Ga. – Clay Giles joins the TMU men's soccer staff under head coach
Scott Borchers for the upcoming 2026 season.

"I'm honored to join this program and grateful for the opportunity to work with our student-athletes and staff," Giles said. "I believe success is built on trust, communication, and accountability, and I'm excited to help our players grow both on and off the field."

Giles, a native of Olive Branch, Miss., spent the past three season as an assistant coach and film analyst for Southern Union State Community College. While there, he helped the Bison to a 33-16-8 record in three season which included two Alabama Community College Conference championships.

He is a graduate of Mississippi State, where he received his bachelor's degree in Sports Administration in 2022.

"I'm looking forward to getting to work and contributing to the continued success of the program," Giles said.

Giles and the Bears will start the 2026 season in August
