THOMSON, Ga. (March 24, 2026) – On Monday-Tuesday, the Truett McConnell University men's golf team traveled to compete at the UNOH Southern Kickoff hosted by the University of Northwestern Ohio, where the Bears were featured being crowned tournament champions after recording a team total of 901 through three rounds. TMU was featured besting No. 23 the University of Northwestern Ohio who finished in third place overall out of nine teams.
 
Daley Williams led the way for the Bears recording a runner-up finish out of 52 golfers after recording a 79 in round one, a 72 in round two, and an impressive 71 in round three, while Luke Iverson followed finishing tied for third after recording a 70, 80, and 74, both earning spots on the All-Tournament Team. Rhys Graham was featured finishing in sixth (76, 75, 74), while Matthew Bible finished tied for 15^th (79, 72, 82) and Christian Burr tied for 19th (78, 76, 81).
