CLEVELAND, Ga. (February 5, 2026) – The Truett McConnell University pickleball team is set to begin their inaugural season on Saturday, February 7, at the UGA Reginal Tournament, where the Bears will compete in a one-day, two division tournaments at Dink'd Pickleball in Augusta, Ga.

TMU is excited to welcome Alex Buchman as the head coach of the TMU Pickleball program. TMU Pickleball will be governed by USA Pickleball, whose mission is to promote the development and growth of pickleball in the United States and its territories by providing players with official rules, tournaments, rankings and promotional materials. Following Saturday's tournament, TMU will travel to compete in the Chattanooga Cup on Saturday February 21.
