TMU held onto their lead even after BJU had two kills only leaving them two points behind. TMU finally took the set with another close out kill by Fisher (25-22).

The table's turned in set three when the Bruins were the first on the board. The game was truly neck and neck with no true lead until back to back kills by Claudia Yates and Fisher put TMU ahead. The match was filled with momentum swings, as both teams fought fiercely for control before the Bruins ultimately took the set (25-27). Set four began with another service ace by Emma Boland, but was quickly overrun by a four-point rally given by the Bruins. TMU strived for the lead with a kill by Beck and service ace by Emilee Keltz that put them ahead by one.
