CLEVELAND, Ga. (August 29, 2025) – Day one of the Inaugural 2025 TMU Labor Day Bear Bash concluded Friday, August 29, with pool play hosted inside the George Blaurock Student Wellness Center and the Harris Athletic Complex.

Eight teams competed across two pools, with Tennessee Wesleyan and Point University each finishing undefeated to lead their respective groups. Truett McConnell closed out day one with a 2-1 record after defeating Piedmont University and Brewton-Parker Christian University, advancing into Saturday's single elimination bracket.
 
Day passes for the TMU Bear Bash remain available for $10 both online and at the gate through TMU's partnership with HomeTown Ticketing. Tickets can be purchased here. All matches will be streamed live on BearsTV.
