CLEVELAND, Ga. (AUGUST 21, 2025) – The Truett McConnell University women's volleyball team is set to begin the 2025 season on Friday, where they will compete at the Running Eagles Classic on Friday, August 22- Saturday, August 23.  The Lady Bears are set to take on Warner University and Talladega College on day one of the tournament.
 
In the 2024 season, TMU finished with a record of 14-18, 10-10 AAC. The Lady Bears will be welcoming back seniors Emma Boland, Camille Godfrey and Junior Faith Clarkson amongst their core group of returners. TMUs roster will feature a total of 22 newcomers, including 2025 transfers Julia Fisher from Grove City College and Kirsten Acevedo from Chowan University. 
 
Friday's action kicks off at 11:00 a.m., followed by the second match at 1:00 p.m. On Saturday, TMU wraps up tournament play with a 9:00 a.m. match against Florida College and an 1:00 p.m. matchup against Webber International University. The Lady Bears will then turn their attention to hosting eight teams for the inaugural Bear Bash Indoor Volleyball Tournament, set for Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30.
