CLEVELAND, Ga. (August 21, 2025) – The Truett McConnell University men's soccer team is set to begin their 2025 season on Saturday, August 23, as they host Life University for a non-conference match-up inside the TMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. According to the Appalachian Athletic Conference Coaches' Preseason Poll, the Bears were picked to finish No. 4 of 14 teams.
 
The men's soccer team is eager to build on their historic 2024 campaign, which saw the Bears post an 11-5-3 overall record and an 8-3-1 mark in conference play. Their season was highlighted by an impressive run in the AAC Tournament, where they finished as tournament runners-up.
 
The Bears return a strong core, including junior Pablo Farrona and sophomore Euan Brindley, both named members of the 2024 AAC All-Conference Second Team, alongside seniors Toby Berry and Josep Moral. Captain Marco Mandelka leads a group of 11 returning players along with welcoming 15 incoming Bears.
 
Saturday's match is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. TMU will open conference play on Saturday, September 6, hosting Montreat College at 4:30 p.m.
