CLIFTON, Tenn. (April 8, 2025) - On Monday - Tuesday, the Truett McConnell University men's golf team traveled to compete in the Lions Spring Classic hosted by Freed-Hardeman University where the Bears secured a runner-up finish out of 11 teams with a team score of 604 through two rounds.
"The men had a solid tournament this week with a runner-up finish in their event at Freed-Hardeman," said Head Coach Steve Patton. "It's exciting to see the men making great progress and trending in the right direction before heading into the conference championship."
Most notable, Zacharie Farmer (74, 72) and Luke Akerman (73, 73) were both featured recording top performances finishing tied for third out of 63 golfers, both earning spots on the all-tournament team. Matthew Bible was featured finishing in 21st (81, 75), while Ty Cranford finished tied in 22nd (78, 79).
