ROCK HILL, S.C. (April 8, 2025) – On Wednesday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University disc golf team traveled to compete in the College Disc Golf National Championship hosted by Winthrop University. TMU disc golf sent three teams to the national championship who each competed in various divisions through three rounds of play at three different courses.
 
The TMU Disc Golf Ma2 team, featuring Cooper Gibson, Ellis Hendrix, Luke Evans and Chandler Bagley were featured finishing 35^th overall in the final rankings of the DIII category after recording a team score of 228 (-7). In the DII category, the Ma1 team featuring Grant Holder, Silas Smith, Riley Boggess, and Eli Johnson recorded a final ranking of 57^th with a team score of 234 (-3), while the Fa1 team featuring Myra Ehrenberg and Jocelyn Halker, finished in 24^th (+62).
 
"It was a tough four rounds, but everyone overcame and played some solid disc golf," said Head Coach Josh Adair. "The team has made significant improvements from our first year into our second, and we are looking forward to the progress we will make in year three."
