The Cavaliers fought back scoring one run in both the second, third, and fifth innings, taking control of the scoreboard, 3-2. The Lady Bears continued to show their grit, eager to take back the lead when a single by Mackenzie Heim in the sixth inning tied up game one (3-3). A go-ahead three run home run by Isabelle Sullivan later in the inning ultimately proved to be the difference maker in the game one win (6-3). MC scored their final run of the game in the seventh, failing to stop TMU from earning the win, 6-4.
