CLEVELAND, Ga. (December 2, 2025) – On Tuesday, the Truett McConnell University men's basketball team recorded a dominant performance at home, defeating non-conference opponent, Voorhees University 91–65.

In the first half, TMU jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.
Calvin Carter II drained an early three‑pointer to set the tone, followed by consecutive layups from the Bears. TMU's offense was well‑distributed, with
Emanuel Befekadu hitting timely three‑pointers and
Jadon Yeh asserting himself in the paint. By halftime, the Bears held a comfortable lead, keeping the pressure on, extending the margin with a mix of three-point shooting and inside scoring.
Omari Joseph provided energy on both ends, while
Justice Lewis knocked down a late three-pointer to cap off the scoring. Truett McConnell's teamwork and consistency proved too much for Voorhees, sealing a 26‑point victory, 91-65.
LEADERS
Yeh led the way with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Befekadu followed with 14 points, going 5‑of‑11 overall and 4‑of‑10 from three-point range. Joseph contributed 12 points and six rebounds.
