ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (November 4, 2025) – On Tuesday, the No. 3 Truett McConnell University men's soccer team traveled to face No. 2 Milligan University in the semifinal round of the Appalachian Athletic conference tournament. The Bears played with heart ultimately falling 1-0 to the Buffs. TMU closes their historical 2025 campaign with a strong postseason run and an overall record of 10-5-3, 7-2-3 AAC.

Both sides opened the match with high intensity, as TMU looked to carry momentum from their quarterfinal victory. Early chances from
Jovica Lazarevic and
Hudson Reynolds in the opening 20 minutes tested the Buffaloes' back line, but Milligan's defense held firm. Despite the strong offenses from both sides, The Bears and Buffs enter halftime at 0-0. In the second half, Milligan struck early and won the first and only goal of the match. Despite strong efforts from Lazarevic and
Marco Mandelka down the stretch, the Bears were unable to break through the Buffaloes' defense, falling to a final score of 1-0.
