Bears earn No. 3 seed, Records highest AAC finish in program history

CLEVELAND, Ga. (October 25, 2025) – The Truett McConnell University men's soccer team capped off a historic regular season, finishing third in the Appalachian Athletic Conference standings, the highest regular season conference finish in program history. The Bears posted a conference record of 7-2-3, including five shutout victories in AAC play.

"I'm really proud of the guys for their hard work," said Head Coach Scott Borchers. "We have grown together a lot over the past months, and I'm eager to see the guys navigate the challenges ahead."

TMU's strong season places them behind Union Commonwealth University at No. 1 and Milligan University at No. 2 heading into postseason competition. As the No. 3 seed, the Bears are set to host the No. 6 seed Columbia College on Friday, October 31, at 6:00 p.m. inside the TMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex for the AAC Tournament quarterfinal round.

"I'm Blessed to work with a group of guys like this and excited to see what's in store for them in their future!"
