KINGSPORT, Tenn. (April 18, 2024) - On Thursday, the No. 7 Truett McConnell University competed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament against No. 2 Webber International, where the Bears fell in three tough sets and concluded their season with an overall record of 6-20.
Most notable, TMU made program history by recording the most wins in a single season.

Back-to-back kills from Caleb Bosveld set the stage for TMU, followed by an Alex Bosman kill and Nathan Hill kill to keep the score close (4-5). The Warriors earned multiple strong runs to force the Bears to work hard from behind, but a kill from Adam Shuman kept the lead in range (11-14). Set three ultimately proved the final chapter for the Bears as the Warriors showed their grit. Bosman proved resilient as he collected points for TMU, while a kill from Nathan Hill was the last move for the Bears as they fell to a final set score of 15-25.
LEADERS
Bosman led the way with nine kills, while Bosveld recorded eight kills. Hill had three kills and nine digs, followed by Wensky Saintilmond who had 22 assists.
