CLEVELAND, Ga. (March 19, 2024) - The Truett McConnell University men's volleyball team hosted Warren Wilson in a non-conference match-up, where the Bears stole the show with a three set sweep with scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25,19. 

PLAY-BY-PLAY

Alex Bosman sparked the fire for TMU in set one, followed by a kill from Troy McAlister and a service ace by Stephen Dixon. Kills from Caleb Bosveld, Bosman and Dixon added to the Bears lead and secured set one. Back-to-back kills from Bosman and Bosveld held the steady pace, while a service ace from Nathan Hill made the score even. A seven point run out the Bears back in the game, while Warren Wilson errors and final kills by Adam Shuman and Bosman secured the win in set two. A kill by Bosman and Shuman put TMU up early, while Warren Wilson attacking errors and two final service aces from McAlister sent the Bears to victory. 

LEADERS

Bosman led the way with 14 kills, followed by Bosveld who had nine kills and Shuman who had eight kills. McAlister recorded a total of six kills, while Wensky Saintilmond had 32 assists on the night.
