CLEVELAND, Ga. (February 18, 2023) – The Truett McConnell University women's tennis team hosted Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Point University on Saturday, inside the TMU Tennis Complex, where the Lady Bears stayed sharp as they secured their second team win of the season with a final score of 4-3.
TMU proved a true competitor against the Skyhawks, featuring stellar sets through doubles and singles matches. Carly Sosebee showed her grit in the No. 3 singles spot with a comeback in set two, while forcing the match into a close 10 tie breaker, ultimately falling by slim margins to a final score of 8-10.
