JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (February 12, 2023) - The Truett McConnell University shooting sports team travelled to compete in the Spring Eastern Regional Qualifier, where the qualifying scores were 86 in skeet, 86 trap and 70 sporting. Sporting saw five Bears qualify for nationals, skeet saw two Bears qualify for nationals and trap saw Ethan Ledford punch an individual ticket to nationals. 

Garrison Walker was featured recorded a personal best in skeet, while Drew Weber recorded a personal best in sporting. Lexi Bullard followed up with a personal bed tin sporting, along with Michael Bowen who recorded a personal best of his own in sporting. 

Up next, the Bears will travel to Las Vegas, N.V. on Monday, March 13-Sunday, March 19, to compete in the national championships.
