KINGSPORT, Tenn. (April 26, 2022) - On Tuesday, the No. 4 Truett McConnell University softball team traveled to Kingsport, Tenn. for the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. The Lady Bears faced No. 5 Brenau University, where they collected a big day one with with a final score of 2-0. TMU improves has a record of 29-23, 20-8 AAC.

B. Lawson and Lexie Simonton led the way offensively, both going 2-3 at the plate. B. Lawson tallied one RBI and one run.
Rachel Morgan was 1-3, while Abner was 1-1 with one RBI. Sanders threw a complete game, recording eight strikeouts and only allowed two hits.
